A story from my life

I know I haven't posted for a while, so here is a really funny story for you-

                                                            Me and the maths olympiad

So, before I start the story, let me tell you a secret- I HATE MATHS!!!. And I stupidly volunteered for a maths olympiad. And I was supposed to start studying for the maths olympiad because I had only one month. So I looked at it once and it was like way beyond my level. Chicken and rabbit sums- " what in the whole wide world of maths is that?!". Advanced gaussian addition- " I'm not going to and sit there and add something silly!". Speed, distance, and time problems- "" I may need that for calculating how many days till I'm free from maths!". And then I asked my mother what happens when we win maths olympiad and guess what she said. Okay, I'm telling you- " You will go for finals against the whole world." !!!!!! I don't want another two months of misery!! So this time you guess what I did. No, wrong. I started studying a week before the exam! Now isn't that genius! This way I will not win and I won't get another two months of maths which I don't understand! And I gave the exam. I was confident with my one-week math knowledge I won't get in the finals. And then on June end my results came. I was right! I got 8 out of 100! But, oh wait, what is that? Wait, what! I got bronze because it was a hard exam. And I got into the finals. I guess my technique did not work. Now I think I have to study for two months extra hard because all I can do is win now. At least you don't have to go through these difficulties. :( :(
